Troubleshooting Coassemble Login Errors
The validation errors the login page shows, what each one means, and what to do about an email address it doesn't recognise.
Most login failures come down to one of three things: an empty field, an address that isn't formatted correctly, or an email address that has no Coassemble account attached to it. Here's how to tell which one you're looking at.
"This field is required"
You selected Continue without typing anything. Enter your email address, then continue.
"Please enter a valid email"
The address is incomplete or mistyped, usually a missing "@" or domain extension. Check the spelling and the format, then try again.
"Sorry, we could not log you in because you do not have an account"
The address you entered isn't registered. Two things to check:
- Are you using the right address? If your organisation set your account up for you, it may be attached to a different address from the one you tried. Ask whoever manages your workspace which one it is.
- Are you trying to sign up rather than sign in? Coassemble accounts are created through the sign-up form at coassemble.com, which asks for a job title and a work email address. Free email domains aren't accepted, so a personal address will be rejected there too.
If you're an existing customer and none of that gets you in, contact us and we'll sort it out.
Frequently asked questions
I signed up with a personal email and it was rejected. What now?
Use your work email address. The sign-up form only accepts a work domain.
I'm a learner, not a creator. Do I need to log in at all?
No. Courses shared with you by link or email open in any browser without an account.
